I’m Steve. I provide expertise in Linux server systems to UK organisations. I live and work in the United Kingdom, but consider myself a European citizen.
dowe.uk has been my weblog since 2007. Subject matter routinely covers computing, organisational habits, optimal living, some random thoughts, observations and comment on the state of (a very few) things, such as technology, philosophy, music, media and the social landscape. Occasionally, I leave the desk jockeying and go somewhere – and try to remember to blog about it.
What I do
I am a full-time business owner and Linux/Unix systems administrator, with some full-stack experience on the web side, harnessing Linux-based web hosting for the past 20+ years.
